পূর্ব বর্ধমান জেলার কালনা থানার অন্তর্গত বৈদ্যপুর গ্রামে বাস স্ট্যান্ড থেকে একটু এগিয়ে নন্দীপাড়ায় পাশাপাশি দুটি মন্দির দেখতে পাওয়া যায়। আলোচ্য মন্দিরটি আটচালা ঘরানার মন্দির।
১৭৫৩ খ্রিস্টাব্দে প্রতিষ্ঠিত এই মন্দিরটি বর্তমানে জীর্ণ দশায় রয়েছে। দৈর্ঘ্য প্রস্থে বর্গাকার ১২ ফুট মন্দির টি প্রায় ৩৫ ফুট উঁচু। মন্দিরের একদিকের দেয়ালের সংলগ্ন অঞ্চলে অন্য একটি গৃহ কাঠামো তৈরি হওয়ায় একদিক প্রায় দেখাই যায় না।
বর্তমানে মন্দিরটি দেখলে বোঝা যায় একসময় এটি কি পরিমাণে টেরাকোটা ফলক সমৃদ্ধ ছিল। উটের পিঠে আরোহী, যুদ্ধরত ঘোড় সওয়ার , জাহাজ , কৃষ্ণ লীলার বিভিন্ন ফলক এখনো বর্তমান।
Two temples can be seen side by side in Nandipara, a little ahead of the bus stand in Baidyapur village under Kalna police station in East Burdwan district. The temple in question is of the Atchala style.
This temple, established in 1753 AD, is currently in a dilapidated condition. The temple is square, 12 feet in length and width, and about 35 feet high. One side of the temple is almost invisible as another building has been built adjacent to the wall.
Looking at the temple today, one can understand how rich it once was in terracotta plaques . Various plaques depicting camel riders, fighting horse riders, ships, and Krishna Leela are still extant.
