পূর্ব বর্ধমান জেলার কালনা থানার অন্তর্গত বৈদ্যপুর গ্রামটি একাধিক স্থাপত্যের জন্য বৈশিষ্ট্যময়। রাসতলায় নবরত্ন রীতির মন্দিরটি বর্তমানে সম্পূর্ণভাবে সাদা রং করা। মন্দিরের ছাদের তল গুলি বাঁকানো কার্নিশের পরিবর্তে সোজা আকৃতিতে তৈরি করা হয়েছে। প্রথম তলে চার কোণে চারটি চূড়া দ্বিতীয় তলের চারটি চূড়ার চাইতে তুলনায় একটু বড় এবং কেন্দ্রীয় চূড়াটি সর্ববৃহৎ। মন্দিরটির সামনে একটি বৃহৎ নাট মন্দির আছে। পুরো আঙিনাটি দালান দিয়ে পরিবেষ্টিত। মন্দির এবং প্রাঙ্গণটি পোড়ামাটি ইট দিয়ে একসময় তৈরি হয়েছিল।
মন্দিরের বিগ্রহ বৃন্দাবন চন্দ্র। একসময় কষ্টি পাথরের কৃষ্ণমূর্তি এবং পিতলের রাধা মূর্তি মন্দিরের পূজিত হতো। বর্তমানে ওই মূর্তিগুলি চুরি হয়ে গেছে। মন্দিরটি ১৮০২ সালে নির্মিত হয়েছিল। মন্দিরের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ছিলেন স্থানীয় জয়দেব নন্দী। বর্তমান মালিকানা নন্দী চৌধুরী পরিবারের।
Baidyapur village under Kalna thana of Purba Burdwan district is notable for its multiple architectural features. The Navaratna style temple at Rastala is currently painted completely white. The temple's roof are made in a straight shape instead of curved cornices. The four spires at the four corners of the first roof are slightly larger than the four spires on the second roof, and the central spire is the largest. There is a large Nat Mandir in front of the temple. The entire courtyard is surrounded by buildings. The temple and the courtyard were once built of terracotta bricks.
The idol of the temple is Vrindavan Chandra. Once, a stone idol of Krishna and a brass idol of Radha were worshipped in the temple. Now those idols have been stolen. The temple was built in 1802. The founder of the temple was a local named Joydev Nandi. The current ownership is by the Nandi Chowdhury family
