পূর্ব বর্ধমান জেলায় কালনা থানার অন্তর্গত বর্ধিষ্ণু গ্রাম বৈদ্যপুর। এই গ্রামের প্রাচীন স্থাপত্যটি হল ১৫৯৮ খ্রিস্টাব্দে নির্মিত জোড়া দেউল। রেখ দেউল ঘরানায় নির্মিত জোড় দেউলের একটি গর্ভ গৃহ এবং অপরটি জগমোহন। যজ্ঞেশ্বর চৌধুরী লিখিত গ্রন্থে পাওয়া যায় মন্দিরটির নির্মাতা ছিলেন শুভানন্দ পাল। মন্দির লিপি পাঠে দেখা যায় এটি " শ্রীকৃষ্ণপাদসেবার্থম " অর্থাৎ শ্রীকৃষ্ণ বিগ্রহের সেবার্থে তৈরি হয়েছিল।
জোড়া দেউলটি একই বারান্দার ওপর নির্মিত দুটি রেখ মন্দির নিয়ে তৈরি হয়েছে। এটি যমজ দেউল ( রেখ + রেখ ) ঘরানার মন্দির।
বর্তমানে মন্দিরটি ভারতীয় পুরাতত্ত্বিক সর্বেক্ষণ কর্তৃক সংরক্ষিত।
Baidyapur is a village in the East burdwan district of Kalna police station. The ancient architecture of this village is the Twin Deul built in 1598 AD. This twin Deul, built in the Rekh Deul style, is a sanctum sanctorum and the other is a Jagmohan. In the book written by Yajneshwar Chowdhury, it is found that the temple was built by Subhananda Pal. The temple inscription shows " śrīkr̥ṣṇapādasēbārthama " i.e., for the service of the idol of Lord Krishna.
The twin temple is made up of two rekh temples built on the same porch. It is a twin temple (rekh + rekh) style temple.
The temple is currently preserved by the Archaeological Survey of India.
