According to experts, &#8216;Jalandargarh is mentioned in the Dharmamangal kabya as the capital of Samanta Shekhar Raja. Jalandi village probably bears the memory of this name.&#8217;<br \/>There are three temples side by side on the western side of this village.All the temples face west. The one on the left is a four-chala temple and the one on the right is an eight-chala temple, with the Pancharatna temple in the middle.<br \/>The Pancharatna Temple was established in the 19th century. There is a plaque in the temple which mentions the fifteenth Ashadha of the Bengal year 1284. <br \/>The temple has suffered a lot due to lack of renovation.
