The architecture, built in the 16th century, is in the impeccable Shikhar style.This region was once under the rule of the Sadgopa kings of Gopbhum. These rulers remembered Ishwar Ghosh as their ancestor. It is likely after him\u00a0 the temple of Ichai Ghosh was named.<\/p>\n<p>The temple is still partially decorated with carved bricks. It is not known whether there was a tradition of worshipping any deity in the temple, but there is currently a Shivalinga.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wpuf_customs\">\n<li class=\"wpuf-field-data
