have been gathered in West Bengal. In the 17th century\u00a0 Jaganmohan Pandit&#8217;s book titled &#8220;Deshabali Bibriti&#8221; mentioned this village as the village of Tantubay. During the British period, cotton cloth, silk, laksha and other goods were traded here. During that time, the Subarna banik community and tantubay community established various temples here.
