Across the villages of Bengal\u2014a region renowned for its exquisite burnt-clay artistry\u2014countless terracotta temples, mosques, and secular structures are yielding to the passage of time. Many of these monuments have long since<\/strong> vanished, while others face imminent decay.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The Terracotta Archive<\/strong> is dedicated to documenting and preserving as much information as possible regarding these structures, both extant and lost, within a comprehensive electronic database. This portal features detailed metadata and specific classifications, making Bengal\u2019s heritage accessible to a global audience. To ensure wide-reaching impact, the archive is published simultaneously in Bengali and English<\/strong> and operates as a strictly non-profit, non-commercial initiative.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
